About Kos Island

THE ISLAND OF HIPPOCRATES

Kos is also known as the island of Hippocrates. It belongs to the Dodecanese (12 islands complex) which is located in the southeastern Aegean Sea. It has an airport and fairly good roads. There are amazing beaches and each of them is uniquely beautiful.
One of the most popular areas of Kos is Kardamena village which is located in the southern part of the island. It is mostly visited by tourists during the period from mid-April till the end of October. The village center is just 7km away from the airport.
